In honor and celebration of his birthday, we made this app for him, Sir Jobs, because we were unable to send him a gift. We hope that this tribute app would make a nice present.The reason for the name of this app, Sir Steve Jobs, is because he is so amazing and he changed the world of technology, that we unofficially knight him. He is not British therefore he cannot actually take the name 'sir', but we think that he deserves the honor.
So, who are we to be making a tribute app to celebrate him? We are just five hard-core and die-hard fans of Apple, in our early teens, in front of a computer, with a lot of ideas. Thanks to Apple we were able to put such ideas into actions. Right now, when the average person of our age prefers to purchase apps, we have the opportunity to create those apps and, once again, we have Apple to thank. So far, we have made thousands of dollars from just 22 apps and counting (that will go towards our college fund, by the way) and it is remarkable for us, four 14 year-olds and a 13 year-old, for our efforts to be recognised and rewarded.
So this is our tribute to Sir Steve Jobs, our hero, an idol, a creative, hard-working, intelligent visionary and innovator, and overall, an inspiration to us, because not only does he help Apple move forward, but he helps technology, as a whole, move forward.
Our ultimate dream is to meet Steve Jobs. We couldn’t figure out a way to show our appreciation any other way, but to honor him by creating this app. We couldn’t be more grateful to him.
